Bermuda Bay Guest Services Information provided for our rental guests (“Tenants”)

CANCELLATIONS:
In the event of a cancellation of a confirmed rental for any reason, cancellations must be received in writing and are subject to the following penalties.
- More than 45 days before arrival date: 100% refund of 1st night’s deposit
- 30-45 days before arrival date: No refund of 1st nights deposit, but no charge for remainder of time period canceled
- Less than 30 days before arrival date: 100% cancellation charge

CHECK-IN:
Check in time is 4 PM on your arrival date. Early check-ins are not available. Tenants will receive by electronic means (text message or email) your lock code forty-eight (48) hours prior to your arrival. The code will not work until 4 PM on your arrival date.

CHECK-OUT:
Check out time is 10 AM. Please observe this rule, as our housekeeping staff needs time to prepare for our next arrival. Upon leaving, please secure all windows and doors, wash dishes, and strip beds. Your lock code will stop working at 10 AM.

DAMAGED / MISSING ITEMS:
Bermuda Bay has a thorough inspection policy to ensure our rental units are in good condition and that Tenants will not be inadvertently billed for missing or broken items. Please assist us by reporting any missing or broken items to our office within twenty-four (24) hours so that you will not be held responsible.

FURNISHINGS AND EQUIPMENT:
Homes are furnished with dishes, cookware, flatware, glasses, grills and basic appliances. Each unit is also stocked with bed linens, bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloth. Dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, and bar soap are also provided in each unit.

GRILLING ON THE DECK IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED:
Should you need a grill during your stay please contact us prior to your arrival.  Please grill only on the concrete or in designated areas.

PLEASE BRING YOUR BEACH TOWELS:
Please be sure to pack any specialty items that you may require during your stay. Porta-cribs, surfboards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach towels may be purchased or rented locally.

GROUPS PROHIBITED:
Large gatherings are prohibited without a separate agreement. Special pricing and security deposits may be required. Please call or visit our website for additional information.

ITEMS LEFT BEHIND:
Neither Bermuda Bay nor Goodmanagement can be held responsible for items left in a rental unit. Please double check your unit for personal items prior to departure. If we are asked to return items to you they will be returned C.O.D.

MAINTENANCE:
All equipment in your rental unit should be in working order. Please report any inoperative equipment to our office. Every reasonable effort will be made to promptly repair the same. No refunds will be made for inoperative air conditioners, appliances or for mechanical failure.

OCCUPANCY LIMITATION:
The person renting the unit must be an adult twenty-one (21) years of age or older. In addition, all occupants (“Permitted Occupants”) of the rental unit must be either (1) the tenants named on the registration (2) twenty-one (21) years of age or older (3) direct descendants of the occupants (such as children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren), (4) direct ancestors of the occupants (such as parents or grandparents) (5) siblings of the occupants, and/or (6) a maximum of one (1) additional person for each occupant, direct descendant, direct ancestor or sibling of the occupants. If occupants do not comply with this paragraph Tenant(s) and occupants will be refused entry onto the premises and Tenant(s) or occupants will not be entitled to a refund of any rent payments made. NO EXCEPTIONS.

OCCUPANCY / PARKING:
Occupancy is limited to two (2) people per bedroom plus an additional two people if there is a sofa sleeper. Bermuda Bay will not allow overcrowding of the rental unit beyond the existing bedding. No RVs, campers, trailers, or mobile homes may be parked on the premise.. Parking is limited to two (2) vehicles per unit.

PETS / SMOKING:
Bermuda Bay is a pet and smoke free facility. Guests who choose to smoke or bring a pet are subject to a $500.00 charge.

RESERVATIONS:
Can be made on the Internet 24 hours a day, by mail, telephone, or in person Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST. If booking through this website or directly via our toll free number the 1st night’s room and tax will be charged immediately. The remaining balance will be charged thirty (30) days before the arrival date. Payment must be made by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover). A receipt will be sent immediately after any charge to your account. Reservations made through 3rd party agencies (expedia.com, orbitz.com, etc.) are subject to the terms and conditions of those agencies.

TAXES:
All rental rates are subject to state and local taxes.

TRIP CANCELLATION/INTERRUPTION INSURANCE:
Available as an option on each reservation. The fee for the insurance is 6.5%. TRIP Cancellation/INTERRUPTION INSURANCE MUST BE PAID FOR AT LEAST THIRTY (30) DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL OR AT THE TIME YOU MAKE YOUR RESERVATION, WHICHEVER IS EARLIEST. The policy covers standard trip interruption due to medical emergencies and mandatory evacuation days due to weather. Bermuda Bay does not refund in the event of evacuation for severe weather.
